This is a single scarlet red freesia with a yellow tinged throat.
Freesias are a native species from South Africa. They make excellent cutflowers and are known for their beautiful fragrance. They prefer a warmer position in the garden than other Spring Flowering bulbs. It is recommended to plant these in the fully sun in a well-drained soil. In colder climates, these can be planted against the house wall or in a position which traps the sun.
