Product Description

Crocus sativus (Saffron Crocus) corms are available for pre-order with despatch in December.

Grow your own Saffron. Violet, purple flowers. Plant in March, 7-10 cm deep in a well drained garden soil (with only a small amount of blood and bone and/or organic manure added to it). Saffron crocus can be grown in a sunny position and left in the ground for several years. It is recommended to divide them every 2-3 years.

The corms do need time to adapt to local conditions and will generally multiply rapidly. They prefer warm/hot summers and cool/cold winters.
