St. Brigid Anemones have double flowers. These are popular and easy to grow. The mixture includes red, white, pink and blue.
Anemone Coronaria are commonly known as Florist's Anemone. They can be used as cutflowers but are ideal for mass planting or clump planting in garden beds. They are very easy to grow and should be left in the ground to naturalise. They prefer a well-drained fertile soil in the full sun or partial shade. Bulbs should be soaked in luke-warm water for 24 hours before planting.
